Hiding Lights.
With Hiding Lights, light acquires a body, can be touched, pressed and caressed, even inflated. The luminous objects, consisting of diffusive white material covered with a variety of black structures, change their shape with each interaction. Sometimes soft, round and shapeable, sometimes hard, rigid and symmetrical, they give the impression of being alive, breathing. Depending on the type of interaction, the light between black spaces unfolds in different intensity. There is no 'on' and 'off', but rather objects react to external influences with gradations from dark to light.
Eclipse.
Eclipse is an elastic balloon made of diffused white material, which is covered with black structures made of latex or plastic films. When the balloon is inflated, the structure widens and more and more light penetrates through the increasing luminous surfaces. As the air escapes, the shapes recede and it gets darker. Through this pulsating movement Eclipse gives the impression of being alive and breathing.
Lyre of Light.
Installation Lyre of Light are in a darkened room. All walls are vertical arranged dressed in black slats and the glowing surfaces cover it behind. Visitors can stroke their hands over this movable structure and allow light to pass through for a brief moment. Depending on the extent of Interaction unfolds the light in ever varying intensity: There is no on / off, only Gradations from dark to light.
Andromeda.
Andromeda is an installation of light-spirals, consisting of a transparent latex layer and a black cell-rubber layer with lasered pattern, whose luminous intensity can be enhanced by pulling it down vertically with a handle. With the help of a spring coil and the elastic properties of the rubber, the object slowly pulls upwards, thus reducing its luminosity.
Blossom.
At Blossom, visitors are separated by a wall covered with flower-shaped hemispheres made of latex. If these forms are convex towards the observer, the white areas between the leaf-like black shapes light up. If you push the soft object through the wall, the hemisphere bulges concavely inwards and the black leaves cover the luminous layer. This interactive light / dark game provides an exciting way of communicating with strangers on the other side.
