Geo-Pare.

Geo-Pair consists of a four-legged stool and two trestles with a geometric construction. They were created from a one-millimeter high metal sheet that had a total area of one square meter that was cut out by laser. My inspiration came from using the origami folding technique. Origami made it possible for me to implement it. My first stool models were made of paper in small format. Then I made selected original-size models out of cardboard that had remarkable stability. The metal stool exceeded this stability even further, despite the visually fragile and pointed legs. The height of fourty centimeter was determined on an ergonomic basis to be comfortable for users. The trestles were built on the basis of the geometric, triangular and diamond-like structures of the stool. The design of the trestles is particularly suitable for narrow table tops with a height of fifty-eight centimeters.
